Recording the Caller’s Message When You Cannot Answer a Call (continued)
You can record your own answer messages to be played back when answering with
the Quick Record Message and Record Message functions.
•
Maximum number of messages that can be saved: 1
•
Maximum recording time: About 20 seconds
•
You cannot record the answer message directly after a phone call. Wait for about 5 seconds
before you start recording.

In standby, select “setting”
“record message”
“REC answer MSG”
“1.record” from the menu.
•
When an answer message has already been recorded, a prompt is displayed asking whether to
overwrite the recorded message. Select “YES” to overwrite the message and press
(select).
To cancel recording, select “NO”.

Press (record).

Speak into the microphone.
• The voice is recorded from the microphone. Recording at a distance of about 10cm is
recommended.

Press (stop).
The answer message is saved.
• The recording is automatically stopped after about 20 seconds.
