Recording the Caller’s Message When You Cannot Answer a Call (continued)
You can record your own answer messages to be played back when answering with
the Quick Record Message and Record Message functions.
•
Maximum number of messages that can be saved: 1
•
Maximum recording time: About 20 seconds
•
You cannot record the answer message directly after a phone call. Wait for about 5 seconds
before you start recording.

Recording an answer message
1 In standby, select “setting” “record message” “REC answer MSG”
“1.record” from the menu.
•
When an answer message has already been recorded, a prompt is displayed asking whether to
overwrite the recorded message. Select “YES” to overwrite the message and press
(select).
To cancel recording, select “NO”.

Press (record).

Speak into the microphone.
• The voice is recorded from the microphone. Recording at a distance of about 10cm is
recommended.

Press (stop).
The answer message is saved.
• The recording is automatically stopped after about 20 seconds.

The answer message is played.

To stop playback, press (stop).

The answer message is deleted when is pressed during recording. If “own message” is selected in
the Record Message setting, this changes to “preset message”.
