The still images of other photo sizes than “i-shot(S)” and “i-shot(L)” can also be sent by changing their
sizes to “i-shot(S)” or “i-shot(L)” (see p.403).
•
The still image you took and saved in the
Memory Stick Duo are first copied to the built-in memory and
sent.
•
If the amount of data of a still image exceeds the maximum amount that can be sent, the data will be
compressed automatically.
•
You cannot send still images taken in the Burst mode. Yet, one still image selected as the Best Shot can
be sent.

Take a still image and show the latest data in the main display.

Select “send i-shot” from the submenu.
The compose mail screen appears.

Follow Steps 4 - 5 in
Attaching and sending saved still images (see p.405).

Alternatively, you can press

When the size of the still image is other than “i-shot(S)”, a selection screen for image size appears.
Select “1.i-shot(S) 120x120” or “2.i-shot(L) 288x352” and press
(select).

When the still image to be sent has been resized, compressed, or when it is saved in the
Memory Stick
Duo, preview of it is displayed. By pressing
(save), the still image is saved in the built-in memory
(“photo folder” in “camera album”), and the compose mail screen is displayed (the original still image
remains unchanged). To cancel the operation, press
(return).

When there is not enough free space in the built-in memory, or when the maximum number of saved
images is reached, a prompt appears asking if you want to overwrite an existing image (see p.540).

To send a still image immediately using i-shot
You can send a still image to a recipient registered in the Phonebook Memory number 000 to 009. The
mail address in the Phonebook entry is used as the recipient address.

With the latest photo data displayed, press and hold down the key which corresponds to the
last digit of the Memory number (
to
).
The compose mail screen appears.

Follow Steps 4 - 5 in
Attaching and sending saved still images (see p.405).

If more than one mail address is stored in a Phonebook entry, select one and press
(select).
•
If there is no mail address in the Phonebook entry, the phone number is used as the recipient
address. If more than one phone number is stored, select one and press
(select).
•
To send the still image, which is compressed or is of other size than “i-shot(S)”, from the
Memory
Stick Duo, follow the same steps for the “send i-shot” submenu.
