Select an image to start the Slide show, and select “slide show” from the
submenu.
The Slide show is started.
•
The images are switched in intervals of about 2 seconds.
•
Images from the selected image to the last image in the list are displayed in
the Slide show.
To display all images, select the first image in the list.
•
For an animation, only the first image is displayed. For still images taken in
the Burst mode, all images are shown tiled.
To stop playback, press
(stop). Press
(play) to resume the playback.
Sending still images via i-shot transmission
The still images in “camera album” can be sent via i-shot transmission.
•
The still images of other photo sizes than “i-shot(S)” and “i-shot(L)” can also be sent by
changing their sizes to “i-shot(S)” or “i-shot(L)” (see p.403).
•
If the data amount of a still image exceeds the maximum data amount that can be sent, the data
will be automatically compressed.
•
The still Images in a folder set as secret cannot be sent.
•
You cannot send still images taken in the Burst mode. However, one still image selected as the
Best Shot can be sent.

Display a still image and select “send i-shot” from the submenu.
The compose mail screen appears.

When the size of the still image is other than “i-shot(S)” or “QQVGA”, a selection screen for
image size appears. Select “1. i-shot(S) 120x120” or “2. i-shot(L) 288x352” and press
(select).
•
When the still image to be sent has been resized or compressed, its preview appears. By
pressing
(save), the still image is saved in the built-in memory (“photo folder” in “camera
album”), and the compose mail screen appears (the original still image remains unchanged). To
cancel the operation, press
(return).
•
When there is not enough free space in the built-in memory, or when the maximum number of
saved images is reached, a prompt appears asking if you want to overwrite an existing image
(see p.542).

Selecting and saving one still image from images taken in the Burst mode
You can display still images taken in the Burst mode, and select your favorite one to
save as a separate still image.
