•
If you want to choose whether or not to allow communication every time an application is
started, select “2. CFM every session”. To not allow communication, select “3. no”.
•
This setting cannot be made for an application that does not need communication.

Calls cannot be made from within an application when Keydial Lock is set.
•
Phonebook entries cannot be added from within an application when Phonebook Access Lock, Phonebook
Store Lock or Keydial Lock is set. Phonebook entries cannot be accessed from within an application when
Phonebook access lock is set.
•
Redial data cannot be accessed from within an application when “redial” in the Log Display setting is off.
The Call history cannot be accessed when the “received calls” in the Log Display setting is off.
•
You cannot view or work with mail from within an application when Mail Security is set. You can, however,
view and work with mail when you start an mail interlocked type i-
α ppli program from a folder in the
Outmail box or Inmail box or use the i-
α
ppli To function to start an application from a mail item.
•
Character images set by the Partner setting are not displayed on some screens while i- α ppli is running.
(“no setting” is enabled and no character image appears.)

Setting an application to automatically perform communication
Example
•
Applications that require access to your mova’s communication capability may not operate if “no” is
selected.
•
Communication does not take place when outside the i-mode service area or when Self Mode is set.
•
In order to check software availability, i- α ppli DX applications may access your mova’s communication
capabilities regardless of the application’s Network Transmission setting.
•
i- α ppli applications that have the Send Mail function may send mail regardless of the application’s Network
Transmission setting.
•
For the i- α ppli Standby screen, choose whether to allow communication when you make the i- α ppli
Standby Screen setting. Even if you change the Network Transmission setting of the application here, the
Network Transmission setting for the i-
α ppli Standby screen is not changed.
