To add a signature
The signature must be registered in advance (see p.378).

Select “add SIG” from the submenu.
The signature is added at the end of the mail body.
•
When the total number of characters in the text and signature exceeds the maximum
number that can be sent, the signature cannot be added.

The i-mode mail is sent.

Alternatively, you can select “send” from the submenu.
•
When mail transmission is completed, a copy of the mail is saved in the Outmail box.

To save composed mail without sending

Select “save” from the submenu.

Saved mail items can be sent later from the Outmail box (see p.327).
■
To use the Re-mail data or Inmail history to add recipients

Select the “to” field and press
(select), and select “2. resend mail” or “3. inmail
history” and press
(select).
•
Alternatively, you can select “resend mail” or “inmail HIST” from the submenu after
selecting the “receiver” field.

Select a receiver and press
(select).

You can use
(change) to switch between 3-line layout to 1-line layout.
•
You can use
to switch between the Re-mail data and Inmail history.
•
If mail transmission fails, the unsent mail is saved in the Outmail box. You can resend it later (see p.327).
•
When i-mode mail is sent, it is recorded in the Re-mail data. You can start composing mail easily from the
Re-mail data (see p.359).
•
In poor signal conditions the characters of the mail may not be properly displayed at the receiving side.
•
An error message “transmission failed” may appear depending on the signal condition.
