Short Mail sent to your mova is received at the i-mode center and sent to your mova
as i-mode mail.
•
An i-mode subscription is required to receive Short Mail.
Displaying new Short Mail
Received Short Mail can be displayed from the message reception screen.

Select a received mail item and press (details).
The Short Mail item appears.
and “iMS” appear.
“090XXXXXXXX (ｼｮｰﾄﾒｰﾙ) ”, “080XXXXXXXX (ｼｮｰﾄﾒｰﾙ) , “ 非通知設定 (ｼｮｰﾄﾒｰﾙ) ”, or
“ 公衆電話 (ｼｮｰﾄﾒｰﾙ) ” appears.

The Short Mail subject field appear as described below:

Display the received mail list from the message reception screen.
: Unread mail exists
: No unread mail
: i- α ppli mail folder
(see p.348)
: Unread
: Read
: Protected
“iMS” appears.
Subject field:
The name or phone
number appears.
When a Caller ID
is included
When the sender’s phone number is saved in the Phonebook, the sender’s
name or its reading appears. (When the party is stored in Secret memory or
Phonebook Access Lock is set, the name is not displayed.)
When the sender’s phone number is not saved in the Phonebook, the
following appears:
“090XXXXXXXX
(ｼｮｰﾄﾒｰﾙ) ”, “080XXXXXXXX (ｼｮｰﾄﾒｰﾙ) ”
(090- and 080- are phone numbers)
When there is no
Caller ID
One of the following appears:
“
非通知設定 (ｼｮｰﾄﾒｰﾙ) ” (when the mail is sent without a Caller ID)
“
公衆電話 (ｼｮｰﾄﾒｰﾙ)
” (when the mail is sent from a payphone)
