Copying mail text
You can copy the recipient’s mail addresses, the subject line and the mail body from
received mail or sent/unsent mail.

Pasting text
Cut or copied text is saved in the mova’s memory and can be used for pasting
repeatedly until the power is turned off.
•
If you attempt to paste any copied text that contains a linefeed into a character entry screen
where a linefeed cannot be entered, linefeeds are converted into single-byte spaces (linefeeds
can only be used when entering the text body for i-mode/i-shot/Chat mail or editing a signature).
For the text body for Chat mail, linefeeds can be used during composition, but converted into
single-byte spaces in the Chat mail screen when the mail is sent.
1
Press
(special) in the character entry screen.
•
Alternatively, you can press
to paste text. Proceed to Step 3.
2
Select “06.paste” and press
(select).
Text now can be pasted.
3
Move the cursor to the position where you attempt to insert the text and press
(select).
The text is inserted to the position immediately before the cursor.
•
If the text contains any characters that cannot be pasted (for example, if you attempt to paste
kanji characters into a character entry screen that only allows you to enter alphanumeric
characters), pasting is not performed.
•
If pasting the characters causes you to exceed the maximum allowable number of characters,
only the portion of the string before you exceeded the limit can be pasted.
•
When an i-mode mail item has multiple recipient mail addresses, the addresses are displayed with a
linefeed entered after each one. However, if pasted to the recipient field of i-mode mail, the linefeed will be
converted to single-byte space, and be able to paste up to maximum number of characters.
