Selecting How an Incoming Call is Handled During Another Call

If you subscribe to the Voice Mail Service, Call Waiting Service, or Call Forwarding
Service, you can select in advance which service handles calls received while you
are talking on the phone.

In standby, select “setting”

“network service”

“2nd call act” from

the menu.

Select an option and press 

(select).

The call is connected, enabling the operation.

•

A call for this setting is free of charge.

•

Alternatively, you can press 

instead of 

(select).

Only 1 option can be selected at 1 time. The most recently selected option is available.

•

When the “

圏外

” (outside area) indication is shown on the display, this operation is not possible. Try

again at a location where signal conditions are good.

•

When Keydial Lock is set, operations cannot be executed from the menu.

The following options are available:

•

2nd call on

If a call is received during another call, the 2nd call beep sounds and the call reception screen
appears. According to the services you subscribe to, the 2nd call is handled as follows:

Note:

•

If you subscribe to more than 1 service, you can use any of the services to handle the 2nd call.

For example, if you subscribe to both the Call Waiting Service and Call Forwarding Service, you

can either answer the 2nd call or forward the call to a phone number you specify.

•

If you do not subscribe to the Call Waiting Service, you cannot answer the 2nd call by pressing

at the call reception screen. If you press it, the 1st call is put on hold and a ringtone

sounds indicating that the 1st call is on hold.

The 2nd call can be answered by pressing

The 2nd call is connected to the Voice Mail Service Center. Select
“voice mail” from the submenu.

The 2nd call is forwarded to the phone number set in no. 1 on the
forwarding phone number list.
