When displaying Internet web sites
When characters in Internet web sites are not correctly displayed, you can change the Character code to
display them correctly.

While displaying an Internet web site, select “change code” from the submenu.
Each time “change code” is selected the Character code changes in the following order:
Shift JIS
→
EUC
→
JIS

The Character code change only affects the page where the change is made.
•
When the displayed page is saved in a Screen memo, the page is saved in the Character code then.
The Character code can not be changed later in the Screen memo page.
About changing the Character code

Select an URL and press
(select).
The Internet web site appears.

To edit and access an URL

Select an URL, and select “edit URL” from the submenu.

(edit), and edit the URL.

Press (connect).

To delete an URL

Select an URL, and select “delete one” from the submenu.
• Alternatively, you can press and hold down
to delete an URL.
• Select “delete all” from the submenu to delete all URLs at once.

Select “YES” and press
(select).
• To cancel the operation, select “NO”.
•
URLs that do not begin with “http://” or “https://” are not recorded in the log.
•
When the same Internet web site is repeatedly accessed, the most recent one URL is stored in the log.
