Deleting folders
Change the folder name or secret setting.
•

You cannot change the folder name of i-
α
ppli mail folder. You can only change the Secret
setting.

1 Select a folder in the folder list, and select “DEL folder” from the submenu.

Alternatively, you can press and hold down to delete it.
•
“outfolder” and “infolder” cannot be deleted.
•
Enter your 4-digit terminal ID number when the selected folder is set as secret. (This is not
required when you previously entered the terminal ID number to release Mail Security.) For the
i-
α
ppli mail folder, if the Secret setting is set for the folder in either the Outmail box or Inmail
box, you must enter your 4-digit terminal ID number.
Press (store).
The changed content is saved.

If you delete a folder, all mail items inside the folder are also deleted.
•
Folders cannot be deleted if a protected mail item is inside the folder. For the i- α ppli mail folder, if a
protected mail item is in a folder in either the Outmail box or Inmail box, neither folder can be deleted.

You cannot delete the i-
α
ppli mail folder that corresponds to software still stored in your mova. Delete
the software (see p.443).
Changing the order of the folder list
1 In the folder list, select “sort folder” from the submenu.
2 Select a folder to move and press (select).
3 Use to select the move destination and press (select).

When moving up above the current location, the folder moves to the top of the selected folder
line. When moving down below the current location, the folder moves to the bottom of the
selected folder line.
4 Press (store).
The order of folders is changed.
