Checking for messages at the Voice Mail Service Center
You can check anytime you’d like to see if any messages have been left at the
Voice Mail Service Center.

In standby, select “setting”
“network service”
“check service” from
the menu.
“checking service” appears followed by the number of saved messages and returns to the
Standby screen. If there is a new recorded message, the mova beeps from the earpiece and
appears on the Standby screen.
•
In poor signal conditions, it may not be possible to check the messages. (In this case,
“unable to check service” appears on the display.) Check again in a location with good
signal conditions.
•
You cannot check the messages in i-mode standby status. End the i-mode standby and
proceed with the operation (see p.274).
When the lines are extremely busy, “

The indication is in accordance with the number of saved messages or whether you
subscribe to the Voice Mail Service as follows.
Displayed number is the one that is announced when playing back a new recorded
message (1417). Retained messages are not included in it.

After a call which is made using Number Plus Service, the “check service” function of the Voice Mail
Service is unavailable. However, it is available again after making a call using the regular phone
