The following operations are restricted:

1. Dialing from the Scratch Pad is also prohibited (see p.523).
2. Redialing is possible only from the Redial data obtained after the Set Restrictions setting is made.

•

The following restrictions apply when the Phonebook Access Lock is set:

•

Phonebook entries cannot be used.

•

Operations involving recalling entries are disabled, such as one-press dialing, two-press dialing, and
dialing using the earphone/microphone switch. Note that it is possible to dial using the Phonebook from
some external devices. Save any strictly confidential parties as Secret memory items (see p.94).

•

When receiving a call, information such as the name or reading will not appear on the call reception
screen, Redial data and Call History. Only the phone number is shown.

•

The name or reading will not appear on the screen that indicates massage reception is completed on
the Inspiration window, Re-mail data, and Inmail History. Only the address is shown.

•

Even if selection for the ringtone or illumination has been made using the group setting, the ringtone or
mail ringtone for the sound setting will sound and the call indicator will flash in the color set in the
Illumination setting when a call is received.

•

If you dial numbers 110, 119 and 118 while the Keydial Lock is set, the setting is not canceled after ending
the call.

•

When the Keydial Lock is set, short mail and i-shot transmission cannot be used.

•

If you send or receive Phonebook data using infrared communication while the Set Restrictions setting is
made, some operations are restricted. The following operations are not enabled:
