Copying and moving mova data to the Memory Stick Duo
Mova data can be copied or moved to the Memory Stick Duo as shown below:
Operation Description
Copies all data items by type of data to the Memory Stick Duo.
Copy in folder
Copy 1
Copies all data in a folder to the Memory Stick Duo.
• Phonebook/Schedule entries, ToDo list items, melody, and Voice recorder
data cannot be processed with this function.
Copies single data items to the Memory Stick Duo.
Change folder
Moves all data in a folder to the Memory Stick Duo. (Once Copy in folder is
performed, it is deleted from the mova.)
• Phonebook/Schedule entries, ToDo list items, melody, and Voice recorder
data cannot be processed with this function.
Move all
Moves all data items by type of data to the
Memory Stick Duo.
(Once Copy all is performed, it is deleted from the mova.)
Copy all
Move in group
Moves all data in a same group in the Phonebook to the Memory Stick Duo.
(Once Copy in group is performed, it is deleted from the mova.)
Copy in group
Copies all data in a same group in the Phonebook to the
Memory Stick Duo.

The copy/move operation is processed in the following manner for the “copy/move in folder”,
“copy/move in group”, and “copy/move all” functions:
・
When you copy or move received/sent/unsent mail, the Phonebook entries, Bookmarks,
Schedule entries, or ToDo list items, all the data is grouped into 1 backup item and
copied/moved to the
Memory Stick Duo (see p.489).
・
For items in the Camera album/Movie album/Import album/melodies/Voice Recorder data, 1
data item in the mova is treated as 1 data item in the
Memory Stick Duo in the same way as
that when data is copied item by item.

Data is copied/moved without overwriting even if there is a data item of the same name at the
destination.
•
Folders cannot be copied/moved.
The following data is copyright protected and cannot be copied/moved to the Memory Stick Duo.
•
Images, Screen memos, melodies (excluding attachable melodies or mail with attachable melodies)
downloaded from i-mode site, etc.
•
Images imported from mail sent using i-shot
•
Images that are saved from i-
α
ppli and cannot be used in other application.
•
Images prohibited from being copied/moved to the Memory Stick Duo
