The screen character font can be changed to a round font or Mincho font.

In standby, select “setting”
“character

“character type” from the
menu.

Select “2.type 2” or “3.type 3” and then press
(select).
Character type is set.
•
Select “1. type 1” to change back to the default.
•
The appearance of hiragana, katakana, alphanumerics and some symbols changes in the round font.
The appearance of kanji also changes in the Mincho font.
•
The appearance of the site display and mail display also changes.
•
The appearance of the site display remains unchanged during executing an i-
α
ppli application.
•
Only normal-size characters appear in a round font or Mincho font (see p.223, 352).
•
The appearance of pictographs, clock display numbers, numbers for dialing, characters in the main menu,
characters in images and some other types of character do not change.
•
The screen display may differ from actual characters and symbols.
