Melody
Player

Select a melody in the melody list, and select “protect” from the submenu.
Protecting melodies
•
Maximum number of melodies that can be protected: 500
•
Melodies preloaded by default cannot be protected.

Select a melody in the melody list, and select “delete one” from the submenu.

Alternatively, you can press and hold down

To delete more than one melody

In the melody list, select “DEL selected” from the submenu.

Select a melody and press
(select).
•
You can select multiple melodies.
•
To cancel your selection, select the melody you selected and press
(REL).

Press (decide).
Proceed to Step 2.

To delete all melodies
Melodies preloaded by default and protected melodies are not deleted by this operation.

In the melody list, select “delete all” from the submenu.
Proceed to Step 2.

Select “YES” and press
(select).
The selected melodies are deleted.
•
To cancel the operation, select “NO”.
Deleting melodies
•
Melodies preloaded by default cannot be deleted.
•
Protected melodies cannot be deleted. Cancel the protection before deleting.
•
In the following cases, a melody set to the Phonebook cannot be deleted. Cancel the setting
before deleting.

Phonebook Access Lock is set
・
Phonebook Store Lock is set
・
Phonebook Delete Lock is set
・
Keydial Lock is set
・
The melody is set in the Phonebook entry which is set to Accept Calls/Reject Calls.
The melody is now protected, and the icon changes to one with
attached.
•
To cancel protection, select the protected melody and select “unprotect” from
the submenu.
•
When a melody set to a ringtone is deleted, the ringtone returns to the default setting.
