In the 20-shot burst mode, the still images are saved in the “i-shot(S)” size; in the 4-shot burst
mode, they are saved in the “wallpaper” size.

When there is not enough free space in the built-in memory, or when the maximum number of
saved images is reached, a prompt appears asking if you want to overwrite an existing image

[Face Clip]
Clipping a face from a still image
You can clip a person’s face from a still image of his/her entire posture, or from a still
image of several people, and save it as a separate still image. You can also save the
face clip image in the Phonebook. This function is available for the still images in
“camera album”.
•
You cannot perform this operation on still images taken with Burst Mode.
•
The clip area is automatically detected.
•
Up to 20 faces per a still image can be detected.
•
Only the full face image can be clipped. The face clipping may fail depending on the size of the
face, hair color, and the shooting condition in the photo.
•
The clipped still image is saved in the “wallpaper” size.
1
Display a still image and select “face clip” from the submenu.
2
Select the direction for a face and press
(select).
The clip areas are detected, and for each person a frame is displayed.
•
The still images taken in the 16-shot burst mode with a D251iS are saved in the “QQVGA” size.
