Making a Call from the Phonebook (continued)
Address search
You can enter part of a mail address and search for the Phonebook entry which
contains a mail address including those characters.

On the Phonebook search screen, select “search type”
“4.e-mail” from the
submenu.

Enter part of the mail address.
The Phonebook entry which contains a mail address including the entered character is selected.

Single-byte alphanumeric characters can be entered. You can use
to switch Entry mode (in
the 5-press Method).
•
The operating procedure is the same as directed in
Reading search (see p.104).
The column tab appears at the top of the screen, and the Phonebook entry
beginning with the column of the selected tab appears.
•
Press
to display Phonebook entries with readings that begin with the
next column. Press
to display entries in the reverse order.

Group search
You can select the group name and search for a Phonebook entry saved in the group.
•
Phonebook entries for which no group setting was set are classified under “group 00”.

Only those groups that have Phonebook entries that can be searched are
displayed.

Select a group and press
(select).
The group name tab appears at the top of the screen, and the Phonebook
entries saved in the selected group appear.
