Displaying and saving images

When an image is scanned, 

appears. You can display the image and save it in the mova.

•

Depending on the image format and size, the image is saved in the “photo folder” of “camera
album” or in the “import folder” of “import album”, both in the built-in memory.

•

The image formats and sizes that can be saved are the same as what is supported when copying
an image from “camera album” or the “import album” of the 

Memory Stick Duo to the mova 

(see p.496, 497).

Select and 

press  (select).

The image appears.
• If the image is an animation, you can play it by pressing 

(play). To stop playback, press 

(stop).

• If the image is corrupted, 

appears.

To save the image, press 

(save).

■

Playing back and saving melodies

When a melody have been scanned, 

appears. You can play back the melody and save it in the

mova.

•

If the melody is broken, 

appears to indicate that it cannot be played back or saved.

Select and 

press  (select).

The melody menu appears.

To save the melody, select “3. save melody” and press 

(select).

• You can play back a melody and display melody information. The operating procedure is the

same as that for downloading a melody from a site (see p.296).

In adding entry to the Phonebook, composing i-mode mail, or adding a Bookmark, if any invalid data is
contained in the scan results, a prompt appears. By selecting “YES” and pressing 

(select), only the

data that can be added to the mova will be set.

•

If all scanned data are invalid, they cannot be added.

•

If there is not enough free space in the built-in memory or the maximum number of saved items is
exceeded, no image or melody can be saved (you cannot overwrite the existing data).
