In standby, select “message R” from the i-mode menu.
You can display Messages saved in the Message box.
•
Maximum number of Messages that can be saved: 20 Message Rs, 10 Message Fs

Select a Message and press
(details).
•
If the maximum number of Messages are saved and a new Message is received, the oldest read message
is overwritten by a new one. Be sure to protect Messages you want to keep. Unread Messages and
protected Messages are not overwritten.
•
The Message R/F icon is displayed when the maximum total number of unread and protected Messages
is reached and no new one can be received (see p.13). To free up space, you must read unread
Messages, delete unnecessary Messages, or remove protection from protected Messages. Messages that
could not be received are stored at the i-mode center (see p.269).
About Messages that can be saved
The Message R list appears.
•
Select “message F” to display a Message F.
The contents of the Message appear.
•
When you display a Message with a melody, the melody is automatically
played back twice. Press any numeric key to stop playback.
For details, see p.342.
•
If there is more than one Message, use
to display the Message before
or after the one currently being displayed. (Alternatively, you can select the
[back] or [next] command displayed at the end of the Message and press
(select).)
