Melody Mail
Using i-mode Mail to Send Melodies
You can attach melodies to outgoing i-mode mail.
•
Maximum number of melodies that can be attached: 1 melody per mail item
•
You cannot attach restricted melodies. The patterns, sound effects, melodies preloaded in the
mova and corrupted melodies also cannot be attached to mail.
•
You can send mail of a total of 500 single-byte or 250 double-byte characters for the mail body
and melody data. Some melodies are too large to attach to mail.
•
i-mode compatible mobile phones that support Melody mail can receive mail with attached melodies.
Note, however, that phones other than the mova D506i may not be able to properly receive
melodies. The melody duration and the number of harmonic notes varies by the type of phone.
