Setting Predictive Conversion
■
To set Predictive Conversion or standard conversion
You can set this via the menu or while entering characters. “refer history” is set by default.
•
To set from the menu

In standby, select “setting” “character
•
word” “refer history” from the menu.

Select “1. refer history” and press (select).
•
Select “2. standard convert” if you do not want to use Predictive Conversion.
•
To set while the character entry screen appears

Press (special) in the character entry screen.

Select “12. refer history” and press (select).

Select “1. refer history” and press (select).
•
Select “2. standard convert” if you do not want to use Predictive Conversion.
•
When setting to “standard convert”
Pressing while inputting the reading in the kanji mode can performs standard conversions.

To delete learning information saved in the conversion list

Enter your 4-digit terminal ID number.

Select “ YES ” and press (select).
This deletes all entries in Predictive Conversion.

To cancel the operation, select “NO”.

Using the user dictionary
Enabling the user dictionary will display the contents of the dictionary to the conversion list.
No user dictionaries are saved by default. For downloading user dictionaries, see p.297.
•
Maximum number of entries that can be saved: 3
•
Maximum size of one entry: 20KB

If a dictionary is already saved, the dictionary list appears.

Select a dictionary and press (select).

Select “1. valid” and press (select).

Select “2. invalid” if you do not want to use a user dictionary.

To delete a user dictionary

Select a dictionary, then select “delete one” from the submenu.

Alternatively, you can press and hold down to delete it.
•
To delete all the dictionaries, select “delete all” from the submenu.

Select “YES” and press (select).

To cancel the operation, select “NO”.
