1 In standby, select “setting” “call
•
COM” “auto catch” from the menu.

Select “1.yes” and press (select).
3 Use to to set the time period (shift time) until the phone answers a
call and press (set).
Set Auto Answer is activated.
•
A time period between 0 and 120 seconds can be set.
•
Use to increase or decrease the amount of time.
•
If you make a mistake, use to delete the number and reenter the correct one.
•
When you use Set Auto Answer with Record Message, Voice Mail Service, or Call Forwarding
Service, set a shift time for Set Auto Answer that is shorter than that of other functions. If a
longer time is set, the Record Message or the other answering services operate and you cannot
answer the call.
When a switch-equipped earphone/microphone is connected, the phone can be set to
answer a call automatically even if you cannot use your hands to answer the call.
•
If no plug is connected to earphone/microphone jack or during a call, the Auto Answer setting is
not used even if it is set.
•
The Auto Answer function cannot be used while Keypad Lock is set.
•
To cancel the setting, select “2. no”.

When a call is received, it is automatically answered after the shift time elapses.
•
If you connect a switch-equipped earphone/microphone after the phone starts ringing, the call is answered
immediately.
•
Note that if 0 second is set for the shift time, neither the ringtone nor vibration is performed when a call is
received.
•
Set Auto Answer can also be used when hands-free call is enabled.
