[Protect Mail]
Protecting sent and received mail items
•
Maximum number of mail that can be protected: 150 for sent mail; 1,950 for received mail
(except for Image mail); 10 for received mail (Image mail)
•
Unsent mail and unread mail cannot be protected.

The selected mail item is now protected, and the icon changes to one with
attached.
•
This operation can also be performed from the sent mail display screen or
received mail display screen.
•
To cancel protection, select a protected mail item and then select “unprotect”
from the submenu.
Select a mail item in the sent mail list or received mail list, and select
“protect” from the submenu.

The dialing method selection screen appears.

This operation can also be performed from the sent/unsent mail display screen or received mail
display screen.

If more than one phone number is saved in the Phonebook
The phone number selection screen appears.

Select a phone number and press
(select).
Proceed to Step 2.

Alternatively, select a phone number and press
to make a call.
You can make a call to the recipient of sent/unsent mail and the sender of received mail.
•
For i-mode mail and i-shot mail, you can make a call to the phone number in the Phonebook
entry in which the recipient’s or sender’s mail address is saved. You cannot make a call when
no mail address or phone number is saved in the Phonebook entry, or when the Phonebook
entry is stored in Secret memory. However, you can make a call if the mail address is “phone
number” or “<phone number>@docomo.ne.jp”.
•
For Short Mail, you can make a call to the phone number of recipient or sender. If multiple
phone numbers are saved in the Phonebook entry, you can make a call to other phone
numbers. You cannot make calls if the received mail has no Caller ID.
•
If sent/unsent mail has multiple recipients, you can make a call to the recipient set as “to 1”.
•
You cannot make calls during Phonebook Access Lock or Keydial Lock.

Check the phone number of the other party, select a dialing method, and press
(select).
The call is made.
