Message Meaning Handling method
update image? This message is displayed when
ending the display of the received mail
after the image in the received mail is
received or deleted. To save the received mail in the
current status, select “yes”. To save in
the status before receiving or deleting
the image, select “no”.
unable to format Failed to format the Memory Stick Duo. Remove the Memory Stick Duo and
mount it again. If the problem is still
not solved, contact an NTT DoCoMo
service center.
unable to add bookmark Cannot save a Bookmark because the
scan result is found empty or invalid.

invalid URL
Incorrect URL is entered or no URL is
entered. Enter the correct URL starting with
“http://” or “https://”.
Invalid URL scanned by Barcode Reader,
cannot perform Internet Connection.

protected mail, unable
to delete folder The mail interlocked type i- α ppli cannot
be deleted because there is protected
mail in the corresponding folder of
Outmail box or Inmail box.
Cancel the mail protection and delete
the application (see p.357).
suspended for no save
space Copy is terminated in the middle
because the built-in memory of the
mova is full or the maximum number of
data items that can be saved has been
reached. Delete unnecessary data from the
mova and try again.
record hold message No hold message is recorded. Record a hold message (see p.512).
mail security is setting,
unable to delete Since Mail Security is set, mail
interlocked type i-
α ppli cannot be
deleted.
To delete the application, cancel Mail
Security (see p.235).
data for displaying is
exceeded
There are folders or data that cannot
be displayed because the maximum
number has been exceeded. Delete unnecessary folders or data
and display the list again (see p.504).
There is data that cannot be displayed
because the maximum number of data
items in the backup data has been
exceeded.
