Using i-shot to Send Still Images (continued)

Select the still image to be sent.

Select a folder and press
(select).
The picture list or title list of still images that can be sent appears.

Folders set as secret do not appear.

Select a still image and press
(details).
The still image appears.
•
To switch between the picture list and the title list, select “title list” or “picture list” from the
submenu.
•
You can check the information about a still image by selecting the still image and selecting
“image INFO” from the submenu. Press
(OK) to return to the list.

Press (select).
The file name of the still image is set to the “paste” field on the compose MSG screen.
•
If the still image size is not “i-shot (S)” or “QQVGA”, the screen for selecting an image size
appears. Select “1. i-shot (S) 120x120” or “2. i-shot (L) 288x352” and then press
(select).
•
If the still image size is changed or the amount of data is compressed, the still image to be
sent appears. When you press
(save), the still image is saved in the built-in memory
(“photo folder” in “camera album”) and the file name is set to the “paste” field. To cancel the
operation, press
(return).
・
When there is not enough free space in the built-in memory or the maximum number of
saved images is reached, a prompt appears asking whether or not to overwrite an existing
image (see p.540).

Attaching and sending saved still images
You can attach and send still images saved in “camera album” in the built-in memory.
The compose mail screen appears.

Alternatively, you can use the following ways:

In standby, press and hold down

Select “mail” from the menu in standby and press and hold down
(select).
・
Simple Mail (see p.330)
The still image is attached,

Select the “paste” field and press

Alternatively, you can select “attach IMG” from the submenu.

If the mail text exceeds 200 single-byte or 100 double-byte characters, a prompt appears.
Select “YES” and press
(select) to discard the exceeded characters. To cancel the
operation, select “NO”.
