Making i-mode Settings
•
If you set other than “answer”, the ringtone sounds and the following screen appears when there is an
incoming call during i-mode communication or in i-mode standby.
•
When Call Reception during i-mode is set to “answer,” incoming calls interrupt mail and Message
downloads. Perform the Check New Message operation after the call to receive mail and Messages that
could not be received.
•
During i-mode communication or in i-mode standby, there may be a delay between when an incoming call
is received and when the designated ringtone and call reception screen are triggered. The caller is notified
of this delay.
•
In Drive Mode, you cannot receive a call even if you have set “answer”. The ringtone does not sound, “call
in packet” is displayed, and the call is recorded in the Call history.
•
If you select “voice mail”, “forward w/ MSG” or “forward w/o MSG” when you do not subscribe to the Voice
Mail Service or Call Forwarding Service, during i-mode communication or in i-mode standby, callers hear
the beginning of the announcement since the call is cut off midway. The message “call in packet” appears
on the screen.
•
While Reject Calls, Accept Calls, Caller ID-based Call Block, or Reject Unstored Number is set, no ringtone
sounds for calls received from a party for which call rejection is set during i-mode communication or in
i-mode standby. The message “call in packet” appears and the call is recorded in the Call history. The
caller hears the same announcement as for the “notification” setting.
•
If you receive a call to a Number Plus telephone number during i-mode communication or in i-mode
standby, the caller hears a busy signal regardless of your Call Reception setting during i-mode, and you
cannot answer the call.
