Taking Still Images (continued)

View the still image you have just taken.
•
When you open your mova, the still image you took is displayed on the main display until you
press (OK).
•
You can continue taking still images without viewing.
•
You can also view still images from “camera album” (see p.160).
To view the image with the mova closed, perform the following:

Select “latest data” from the photography menu.

Deleting a still image

When a still image is displayed, use
to select “delete” and press
.
The still image you captured appears.
•
For details about selecting the photography menu, see p.134.
•
The still image you took cannot be displayed after you cancel saving it, delete
the latest data, display “camera album”, or finish taking still images.
•
When you open the mova, the still image appears on the main display.
•
To return to the photography screen, press
twice.
•
To return to the photography menu, use
to select “return” and press
.

In standby, press and hold down
.
The Still Image Photography screen appears in the
main display.
•
Alternatively you can use the following ways:
・
In standby, press and hold down
.
・
In standby, open the lens cover.
・
In standby, press
and select “camera mode”.
・
In standby, select “camera”
“camera mode” from
the menu.
•
When the photo size is “i-shot(S)”, the still image is shown enlarged.
•
You can continue taking still images with the mova closed.
•
To end Still Image Photography, press
(return) or press
in the Still Image Photography
screen.
•
If no key is pressed for about 3 minutes, the Standby screen reappears.

Close the lens cover.
Still Image Photography ends.

Alternatively, press
on the Still Image Photography screen to end the operation.

When the still images you took cannot be saved because there is not enough space in the built-in memory
or
Memory Stick Duo, a message is displayed, which says “please use main display”. Open the mova and
check the content on the main display, and perform the operation.
•
When opening the lens cover during shooting is being completed, the camera may not be activated.

To change the photo size
•
The photo size cannot be changed in the Burst mode and the Frame Shoot mode.
•
The “photo size (open)” in the Camera setting changes, too.

Press .
•
By pressing
one time, the photo size becomes 1 level larger. When the size is set as
“2Mpixel”, pressing it changes the size to “i-shot(S)”.
