Playing back melodies
You can play melodies saved in the built-in memory.
•
Melodies provided in the mova by default cannot be played back using the steps below. Use
Melody Player to play them back (see p.529).

In the built-in memory screen, select “4.melody” and press
(select).
Melody No./total count
Title of the melody “(no title)” appears if a melody has no title.
Type of the selected melody
: Recorded sound
: i-melody
: Melody received from i-mode mail, copied from
Memory Stick Duo, or scanned
with Barcode Reader
: Original melody created with other model such as D504i (when imported by the
data link software)

Select a melody and press
(play).
The selected melody is played back twice.(No sound is heard when you set the
melody playback to not play.)
•
When a melody is selected, select “play point” from the submenu to play
back part of the melody. (Some melodies play the entire melody even when
“play point” is selected.)
•
To adjust the sound volume, press
to select the volume level and press
(set).
•
To stop playback, press
(stop).
•
While in Manner Mode or Drive Mode, a prompt appears. Select “YES” and
press
(select). To cancel the operation, select “NO”.
The melody list appears.
