About copying/moving of data to the Memory Stick Duo
Some data types cannot be copied or moved from the mova to the
Memory Stick Duo. And, some data
types may be partially deleted or replaced when copied/moved.
•
Folders cannot be copied or moved.
•
Protection is canceled before data is copied and moved.

Received mail
Description
• The following still images cannot be copied or moved:
·
Still images saved in the folder that are set as secret
·
Still images for which copying is prohibited, etc.
• Received mail saved in a folder that is set as secret cannot be copied or moved.
• Mail is copied or moved after removing the following from its contents:
·
Melodies that cannot be attached
·
i-

ppli To items (see p.436)
·
Images in Image mail (images are returned to the URL of image data)
• When Devided mail items are received, they are saved as an individual mail items.
The “[2/4]” indication displayed in the mail body is no longer displayed and the mail
cannot be displayed in sequence. However,it can be understood to be Devided
mail item by the “(1/4)” indication at the beginning of the subject.
Movie album • Video saved in a folder that is set as secret cannot be copied or moved.
Sent/unsent mail
•
Sent/unsent mail saved in a folder that is set as secret cannot be copied or moved.
• Mail is copied or moved after removing the following from its contents:

Melodies that cannot be attached
·
Still images in i-shot mail
•
i-shot mail is saved as i-mode mail.
Phonebook
• A Phonebook entry that is stored in Secret memory cannot be copied or moved.
• Data is copied or moved after removing the following from its contents:
·
Images
·
Addresses
·
Memos
·
Individual settings
·
Icons of mail address
·
Photo Call
·
Secret settings
• Data is copied or moved after replacing the following items:
·
Group names all become “group 00”.
·
Only the icons are copied or moved. Other icons become .
Bookmark • All saved Bookmarks can be copied and moved.
ToDo List
•
All saved ToDo list items can be copied and moved.
• Data is copied or moved to “schedule” in the Memory Stick Duo.
• The saving date are updated to the one when copying or moving is performed.
Import album
• The following images cannot be copied or moved:
·
Images saved in a folder that is set as secret
·
Images preloaded by default
·
Images downloaded via i-mode
·
Images received via i-shot mail
·
Images that cannot be copied or moved to the Memory Stick Duo, etc.
•
Images received via infrared communication, images saved from i- α ppli, and
images scanned with the Barcode Reader can be copied and moved.
·
You cannot copy/move some images that are saved from i- α ppli and cannot be
used in other application.
•
Titles are replaced by the date and time of copying and moving.
Schedule
•
Data is copied or moved after removing the following from its contents:
·
Alarm tone
·
Alarm volume
·
Vibrator setting
• Only the icons are copied or moved. Other icons become .
• When no Schedule time is set, the time is set to “00:00” and the alarm setting is
set to “off”.
