When you turn the mova on for the first time after purchase, the Initial setting screen
appears. In the Initial setting screen, you follow the prompts to set the date and time,
change the terminal ID number, and set Caller ID Notification on/off.
•
When cancelling the setting halfway, the Initial setting screen appears each time the power is
turned on.

Open the mova and press and hold down

Enter your 4-digit terminal ID number.
•
The default terminal ID number is “0000”.
•
Entered numbers are masked with a series of “_” characters.
•
If you make a mistake, use
to delete the “_” character and reenter the correct number.
•
If the entered terminal ID number is not correct, the message “wrong security code is entered”
appears, followed by the Standby screen. If no terminal ID number is entered in about 15
seconds, the Standby screen appears automatically. Turn the mova off and then on to set Initial
Settings again.

Set the date and time.
You must set the date and time.
You can enter a date from January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2023. When you select the date, the day
of the week is filled in automatically on the Standby screen. Set the time in 24-hour clock format (00:00
to 23:59).

to enter the current hour (2 digits) and minute (2 digits) and press
(fix).
The date and time are set.
• When entering the month, day and time, single-digit numbers (1 to 9) must be proceeded by a
0 (01 to 09).

number you want to set again.

Press (set).
When the date and time are set, the clock starts from 00 second of the input date and time.

The power is turned on and the Japanese Initial setting screen on the left
appears. To switch the display from Japanese to English, perform the
following steps:

The Japanese Standby screen appears.

Switch the display language to English (see p.40).

Press and hold down
to turn the power off.

Press and hold down
again.
The power is turned on and the English Initial setting screen on the left
appears.
