■ To add a Secret code

Select the “set point” field and press (select).

Select a mail address and press (select).
•
To add no Secret code, select “none”.
•
If the other party deletes the Secret code by resetting or changing the mail address, be sure
to set “none”. You cannot send or reply mail to the address.
•
Only 1 Secret code can be entered even if more than 1 mail address are saved.
•
Even if you set addition of a Secret code, it is not displayed in the recipient field while a
mail is composed.
Step 6 Saving the entry

Select □ of “yes” or “no” for saving in Secret memory and press (select).
The selected item changes to .

“no” is preset when a new entry is saved.
•
To search a party saved in Secret memory, perform Secret search (You cannot search the party
by the ordinary Phonebook search operation) (see p.109).

The Phonebook entry is saved.
•
When multiple phone numbers or mail addresses are entered and the entry fields are left without
an entry, the number of the entry field is later automatically moved up.
In this way, if entries are made in the “phone 1” and “phone 3” fields, the “phone 3” field later
becomes the “phone 2” field.
■ When you select a saved Memory number
A prompt appears asking whether you want to overwrite the existing number.

To overwrite, select “YES” and press (select).
•
Not to overwrite, select “NO” and save the entry in another Memory number.
•
You cannot overwrite an existing number while Phonebook Delete Lock is set.
•
Parties whose entries are saved in Secret memory or specified for Accept Calls/Reject Calls
cannot be overwritten.
