You can register host information and can change to a host other than the one you
initially contracted with.
•
You can register only a single host to which you optionally subscribe.
Note: When you use DoCoMo’s i-shot service, you do not need to change this setting.
Registering a connection host
In standby, select “mail setting”
“i-shot host” from the mail menu.
•
Alternatively, you can select “setting”
“mail setting” from the menu.
•
You can also select “mail setting” from the submenu in the compose mail screen, compose
Short Mail screen, compose Chat mail screen, and the folder list, mail list, mail display screen of
sent/unsent and received mail.

Enter your 4-digit terminal ID number.

The hosts that are preset by default cannot be edited.
Select “2.user defined host” and select “edit” from the submenu.

Select the entry field and press

Enter the host information.
•
The “host name” field can contain up to 16 single-byte or 8 double-byte characters.
•
The “host number” field* can contain up to 11 digits.
•
The “user ID” field can contain up to 32 single-byte characters.
•
The “password” field can contain up to 32 single-byte characters.
•
Enter 4 strings of 3-digit numbers in the “primary DNS” field and “secondary DNS” field.
•
The “SMTP server” field* can contain up to 48 single-byte characters.
•
The “mail address” field* can contain up to 50 single-byte characters.
* Indicates items that must be entered during registration.
