Detecting Binary Defects
The 256-gradation images read by the Camera are converted into binary
black-and-white images and measurement is performed on the white pixels.
The size (area), position (center of gravity), and orientation (angle) of the mea-
surement object can be detected.
Example: Detecting the Presence of Tablets
The image is converted into binary.
The image is converted into binary,
showing the tablets in white.
The area of the white pixels is insufficient,
indicating that a tablet is missing.
