Start command source and frequency command source during communication
operation
The start and frequency commands from an external device can be made valid when using the RS-485
terminals or the communication option. The command source in the PU operation mode can also be
selected.
Selection of command source in Network operation mode (Pr. 550)

Either of the RS-485 terminals or the communication option can be specified for the command
source in the Network operation mode.
●
For example, whether or not the communication option is mounted, set Pr. 550 = "1" to write
parameters from or input the start and frequency commands via RS-485 terminals in the Network
operation mode.

if the communication option is mounted, parameters cannot be written or the start and frequency
commands cannot be sent by communications that use the RS-485 terminals. (Monitoring or
parameter reading can be performed.)
