ENGINE DIAGNOSIS

This vehicle is equipped with an engine and emission control system, which controls A / F mixture, ignition timing,
emission, etc. suitably to engine conditions by ECM/PCM. ECM/PCM has an On-Board Diagnostic system which
detects a malfunction in this system.
When diagnosing a trouble in the engine including this system, be sure to have understanding of the outline of ON-
BOARD DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM and each item in Precaution in Diagnosing Trouble and follow ENGINE DIAG-
NOSTIC FLOW TABLE given in the following page to obtain correct result smoothly.
