28) Remove side cover (1) mounting bolts and after loosening side
cover a little with plastic hammer, remove it by using special
tool.
CAUTION:
D
Do not pry with a screwdriver inserted between mat-
ing surfaces of case and side cover (1).
D
Remove sealing material attached on mating surface
of side cover (1) completely.
D
Use care so that none of sealing material remains in-
side.
Special Tool
(D) : 09912-34510
29) Remove shims (1) from side cover (2).
CAUTION:
Be careful not to mix these shims (1) with those of out-
put counter.
30) Remove output shaft (1).
31) Remove counter shaft (2).
32) Remove parking pawl (1), parking pawl spring (2), parking col-
lar (3) and parking shaft (4) as an assembly.
Remove parking lock support (5).
