CLEANING
Clean passages (1) by blowing compressed air.
NOTE:
MAP sensor, TP sensor, or other components containing
rubber must not be placed in a solvent or cleaner bath. A
chemical reaction will cause these parts to swell, harden or
get distorted.
Don’t put drills or wires into passages for cleaning. It will
cause damage in passages.

INSTALLATION
1) Clean mating surfaces and install throttle body gasket (1) to in-
take manifold.
NOTE:
Use new gasket.

2) Install throttle body to intake manifold and tighten bolts.
3) Connect water hoses (1) and vacuum hose (2).
4) Connect connectors of MAPsensor (3) TP sensor (4) and IAC
valve (5).

5) Install resonator, air cleaner assembly and air cleaner inlet pipe.
6) Connect accelerator cable and adjust cable play to specifica-
tion, referring to ACCELERATOR CABLE ADJUSTMENT of
AIR INTAKE SYSTEM in this section.
7) Refill cooling system, referring to SECTION 6B.
8) Connect negative cable at battery.
