ASSEMBLY
For assembly, reverse disassembly procedure, observing follow-
ing instructions.
Mate spring end with stepped part of spring lower seat (2) as
shown.
Install spring upper seat (1), mating stepped part of seat with
spring upper end as shown.
Tighten strut nut to specified torque by using special tools.

(A): 09900-00411
(B): 09900-00414
(C): 09945-26010
Tightening Torque
(a): 50 N·m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 lb-ft)

INSTALLATION
1) Install strut assembly by reversing REMOVAL Steps 1) – 6). In-
sert bolts in such direction as shown.
2) Tighten all fasteners to specified torque.
Tightening Torque
(a): 100 N·m (10.0 kg-m, 72.5 lb-ft)
(b): 23 N·m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
Don’t twist brake hose when installing it.
Install E-ring (1) as far as it fits to bracket (2) as shown.
3) Tighten wheel nut to specified torque.
Tightening torque for wheel nut
85 N·m (8.5 kg-m, 61.5 lb-ft)
4) Confirm front end (wheel) alignment referring to Section 3A
