6) Insert vehicle speed sensor (1) applied with oil to its O ring and
tighten it with bolt.
Tightening Torque
(a): 5 N
·m (0.5 kg-m, 3.5 lb-ft)
7) Install countershaft right bearing cone into its cap.

DISASSEMBLY
1) Remove input oil gutter (1) from left case (2).

2) Remove counter shaft left bearing cup (1) from left case (2) us-
ing special tools.

3) Remove differential side left oil seal using screwdriver.

REASSEMBLY
1) Press-fit differential left side oil seal (1) to left case (2) facing its
spring side inward using plate (3) and special tool with hammer
up to the position below.
Apply grease to its lip.
Distance “a”: 1.0 – 1.5 mm (0.04 – 0.06 in.)
Diameter “b”: 60 mm (2.36 in.)
“A”: Grease 99000-25010

(A): 09913-75510
2) Install countershaft left bearing cup into case bore by tapping it
with plastic hammer lightly.
