list trace ras
Use list trace ras to see the registration, admission, and status messages in
H.225 used between two H.323 entities for gatekeeper discovery and endpoint
registration. This information is helpful when an endpoint fails to register. For
example, use list trace ras for a particular endpoint, then register the endpoint. If
no commands show up on the output screen, the gatekeeper is not receiving the
message from the endpoint. Check for a network problem.
■
list trace ras ip-address x.x.x.x. displays RAS messages between the
gatekeeper from which this command is run and endpoints, using the IP
address specified in the command
■
list trace ras ip-stations x displays RAS messages between the
gatekeeper and endpoints using the extensions specified in the command
■
list trace ras forced_urqs displays some RAS unregistration request
(URQ) messages sent by the gatekeeper to force unregister endpoints. Not
all gatekeeper-originated URQ messages are captured here. See the
denial event log (‘display events’, Category = denial) for a complete record.
list trace station
Use list trace station to check the VPI.VCI data for a specified station (list trace
station extension). This command traces calls to and from the station, listing the
calling name and number, call redirection reason, coverage path, and call routing
data. Denial events appear for calls that receive intercept or re-order.
The command syntax for ATM-specific trace data is:
list trace station xxxxx/a where xxxxx is the station number, and /a
means that you are requesting ATM-specific data.
Screen 62
shows VPI.VCI data for a successful 2-party call setup. Use
