Issue 5 October 2002
busyout port
Use busyout port to place the specified port on a circuit pack in a maintenance
busy state. No periodic or scheduled tests are performed on the busied out port
until it is released. When the object is maintenance busy, it is deactivated (no call
processing activity may include the busied object). Warning alarms (error type 18)
are generated on each busied out maintenance object, so that INADS can
determine the state of the objects.
Use release port to reactivate the administered port on a circuit pack at a
specified location.
