Multiple configuration and management operations using the same set of values for this group may be required in the same remote equipment.

The

connect

command defines the three arguments (slot/port/ontID) and values in a single operation. A command in this node-sub-tree (remote

equipment) uses this information as needed.

Configuration on a connected ONT with other different argument (Slot, Port, ontID) values than those defined in the initial connect command

arguments, takes precedence over the information stored in the connect command.
