4. Connect an input signal of 1.1 GHz, -10dBm at the "RF IN" port for frequency align-
ment or 100 MHz, -20 dBm at the "RF IN" port for reference level alignment.
5. Select "Continue" to start the internal alignment on the instrument.
The R&S Cable Rider ZPH overwrites exisitng adjustment data and performs the
internal alignment.
If wrong input signal is detected, the R&S Cable Rider ZPH displays a message of
a failed alignment dialog.

Performing Default Calibration
Factory Calibration
It is not possible to recover the overwritten default calibration performed in factory.
The first default calibration is performed in the factory. You can overwrite this default
calibration. For more information, see
Chapter 7.1.7, "Calibrating Measurements"

on page 137.
1. In the "Instrument Setup" dialog box, select the "Perform Default Calibration" item.
2. Select "Calibrate" to perform the default calibration.
