SYSTEM keys
Descriptions
PRESET
Resets the instrument to the default state.
SETUP
Provides basic instrument configuration functions:

Date, time, display, audio and regional configuration
●
Battery low indicator
●
LAN interface
●
Disabling and enabling of options
●
Information about instrument configuration including firm-
ware version and system error messages
MODE
Provides the selection between applications.

Spectrum Analyzer (for model .12 only)
●
Cable & Antenna
●
Power Meter
LINES
Configures display lines and limit lines.
SAVE RECALL
Provides a file manager function to facilitate the saving and
recalling of result and instrument settings.

Function Keys
The keypad [DTF/BW], [CAL/SPAN] and [SCALE/AMPT] for model .12 are displayed
as [DTF CONFIG], [CAL] and [SCALE] for model .02.
Function keys provide access to the most common measurement settings and func-
tions in the instrument.
FUNCTION keys
Descriptions
FREQ/DIST
Mode-dependent button.
Sets the center frequency, frequency span, start and stop fre-
quencies for the frequency range under consideration. It also set
the cable length under measurement.
CAL
CAL/SPAN
The [CAL] or [CAL/SPAN] key provides the following functions:
●
Perform calibration on the R&S Cable Rider ZPH.
●
Selection of calibration kit models and calibration types
(user or factory) for measurement.

to be analyzed.
