4. Firmly connect the "Open" of the calibration standard to the "RF OUT / REFLEC-
TION" port.
5. Select the "Continue" softkey to start the calibration.
The R&S Cable Rider ZPH calibrates the "Open".
6. Next, the R&S Cable Rider ZPH prompts you to connect a "Short" to the "RF OUT /
REFLECTION" port.
7. Disconnect the "Open" of the calibration standard. Firmly connect the "Short" of the
calibration standard to the "RF OUT / REFLECTION" port.
8. Select the "Continue" softkey to start the calibration.
The R&S Cable Rider ZPH calibrates the "Short".
9. Next, the R&S Cable Rider ZPH prompts you to connect a "Load" to the "RF OUT /
REFLECTION" port.
10. Disconnect the "Short" of the calibration standard. Firmly connect the "Load" of the
calibration standard to the "RF OUT / REFLECTION" port.
11. Select the "Continue" softkey to start the calibration.
The R&S Cable Rider ZPH calibrates the "Load".
12. Next, the R&S Cable Rider ZPH prompts you to replace the "DUT" by a
"THROUGH" connection.
13. Disconnect the "LOAD" of the calibration standard. Firmly connect the "Through"
connection between the RF ports.
14. Select the "Continue" softkey to start the calibration.
The R&S Cable Rider ZPH calibrates the "THROUGH".
After finishing the calibration routine, the R&S Cable Rider ZPH displayed the mes-
sage "Calibration done". The
status line
now shows a "(Cal)" to indicate a success-
ful calibration.
