The memory traces are bit-mapped into the picture memory. Therefore, when the
memory trace is recalled, it will not be adapted to any modifications of the reference
level or span that may have been made in the meantime.
When you load a dataset, the R&S Cable Rider ZPH stores the corresponding trace in
the trace memory. You can view that trace with the "Show Memory" softkey.

Using Trace Mathematics
Trace mathematics subtract the memory trace from the live trace and vice versa and
then display the results. After you transfer a trace to the trace memory, you can per-
form the trace mathematics function.
1. Press the [TRACE] key.
2. Select the "Trace Math" softkey.
The R&S Cable Rider ZPH opens a submenu to select the trace math operation.
3. Select the "Trace-Memory" or "Memory-Trace" menu item.
The R&S Cable Rider ZPH calculates and shows the resulting trace.
4. To turn off trace mathematics, select the "Off" menu item.

Using Trace Export
Stores the trace data to a file. The trace data is exported to either a *.csv or *.slp file
formats.
1. Press the [TRACE] key.
2. Select the "Trace Export "softkey.
