FMC Template
The FMC template is a 52-byte, user-defined area in system memory at the address specified by FMC
TEMPLATE in the parameter RAM (see
Table 39-2
). The CP uses the FMC template when sending an
FMC. The user should initialize the FMC template as shown in Figure 39-5.

39.3.2
Terminating FMC Cells
The MCF filter can be programmed to terminate FMCs by diverting them to the raw cell queue. In this
case, RxBD[FMC] is set as a signal to the host application for optional BRC processing. Figure 39-6 shows
the three stages of this process: the incoming PM cell format received, the terminated cell in the raw cell
queue prepared by the CP, and the BRC format to be optionally prepared by the host and sent back as a
BRC.
