Wiring Diagram
3 1) Check resistance between “RED/WHT” wire terminal
and body ground.
Is resistance more than 1 M
Ω
?
Poor connection of
“RED/WHT” wire
terminal at HVAC
control module
connector, and/or HVAC
control module faulty. “RED/WHT” wire
shorted to ground.
4 1) With ignition switch ON position, check voltage between
“RED/WHT” wire terminal and “BLK/RED” wire terminal
at air flow control actuator connector.
Is voltage about 5 V?
Go to Step 5. “BLK/RED” wire open,
poor connection of
“BLK/RED” wire
terminal at HVAC
control module
connector, and/or HVAC
control module faulty.
5 1) With ignition switch ON position, check voltage between
“WHT/BLU” wire terminal and “BLK/RED” wire terminal
at air flow control actuator connector.
Is voltage about 5 V?
Go to Step 8. Go to Step 6.
6 1) Turn ignition switch OFF, disconnect HVAC control
module connector referring to “HVAC Control Module
Removal and Installation in Section 7A”.
2) Check resistance between “WHT/BLU” wire terminal at
air flow control actuator connector and “WHT/BLU” wire
terminal at HVAC control module connector.
Is resistance less than 1 M
Ω
?
Go to Step 7. “WHT” wire open or
high resistance.
7 1) Check resistance between “WHT/BLU” wire terminal and
body ground.
Is resistance more than 1 M
Ω
?
Poor connection of
“WHT” wire terminal at
HVAC control module
connector, and/or HVAC
control module faulty. “WHT/BLU” wire
shorted to ground.
8 1) Check air flow control actuator referring to “Air Flow
Control Actuator Inspection in Section 7A”.
Is air flow control actuator normal?
HVAC control module
faulty. Air flow control actuator
faulty.
