5) Disconnect electrical connectors from radio
assembly, HVAC control module and hazard switch.
6) Remove instrument panel center garnish.
7) Remove radio assembly.
Installation
Reverse removal procedure.
Front Speaker Removal and Installation

Removal
1) Remove door trim referring to “Front Door Glass
Removal and Installation in Section 9E”.
2) Remove 3 front speaker mounting screws (1).
3) Remove front speaker (2) from front door (3).
4) Disconnect front speaker coupler from front speaker
(2).
Installation
Reverse removal procedure.
Rear Speaker (for Sedan Model) Removal and
Installation

Removal
1) Fold rear seat back forward.
2) Remove high mounted stop light.
3) Remove tether anchorage (if equipped) (1) and
center seat belt cover.
4) Remove partition trim (2).
5) Remove rear speaker mounting screw (1).
6) Remove rear speaker (2) from back panel (3).
7) Disconnect rear speaker coupler from rear speaker
(2).
Installation
Reverse removal procedure, noting the following.
• Install rear speaker putting white cushion (1) to rear
side of vehicle.
Rear Speaker (for Wagon Model) Removal and
Installation

Removal
1) Remove rear side sill scuff (1), quarter inner trim (2)
and quarter window trim (3).
