Severity: 2
Meaning: The remote device is not receiving the signal from the local device.
Action: Check the E-1 cable at the local end of the connection. If it is
securely connected and everything else appears operational, contact
your carrier.

Severity: 4
Meaning: The situation that caused alarm 650 has been fixed. However, the E-
1 connection will not be operational if any of alarms 650–652 has
been set but not cleared.
